Data Analyst - Scientist

Responsibilities
• Lead the development and maintenance of data
• Develop standard processes for the collection, modification, analysis and reporting of enrolment planning data
• Collaborate with other staff and data users to understand reporting needs and develop reporting specifications; designs, develops, and maintains a wide variety of reports
• Contributes to the development and management to disseminate research findings and data reports;
• Communicate with IT and data owners across orgzanition to understand business processes and ensure enrolment data meets quality standards
• Design multivariate tests to evaluate opportunities for improvement
• Support with analysis and dissemination of data
• Execute tests, report results, and recommend further action
• Be aware of impact of different technologies on measurement
• Transformation of complex data sets into meaningful conclusions and recommendations
• Resolve problems by examining and evaluating data; selecting corrective steps
Required Skills
• Degree in related discipline from an accredited educational institution
• Solid understanding of SQL and non-SQl databases
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Ability to work independently but also as a team player
• Demonstrate ability to extract and manipulate large amounts of data using data base
• Experience compiling and manipulating data in different formats
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work activities, to completion, while meeting or exceeding deadlines
• Ability to work effectively inside a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Ability to effectively navigate dynamic requirements and priorities
• Strong organization skills, dependability, pro-active, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with attention to detail
